Welcome to Summer Adventure 2025



Drop Off and Dismissal Procedures
Drop Off: Our staff will assist children as they exit their cars directly in front of the entrance of Willard School on California Street.
Parents are also welcome to park and walk their child to the school entrance.
Dismissal: Campers will be dismissed according to the following procedures:
Grades K-2: Rear of building, blacktop closest to picnic tables- (K-2 Door)
Grades 3-5: Rear of building, blacktop closest to basketball courts-mural (3-5 Door)
Cruising into Kindergarten: Willard playground area (Cruising into K Door)
Parking: Willard School has ample parking behind the school and in the nearby church parking lot.
If your child has permission to walk home:
Send a written note to be given to your child’s last-period teacher, or
Call or email the office, and we’ll notify the teacher.
Schedule Pick-Up Options
There are two ways to get your child’s schedule:
Early Pick-Up Opportunity
Monday, June 23 • 12:15- 12:45 PM
Location: Summer Adventure entrance on California Street (by the Willard flagpole)
First Day of Camp
Schedules will be available at three labeled tables near the bike rack, organized by last name:A-G
H-O
P-Z
Please note: No changes to schedules can be made until after Tuesday, June 24th.
Early Pick-Up
If you need to pick up your child before regular dismissal, call or email the Summer Adventure office in advance.

Registering for Camp is a 2 Part Process - Don't Forget to Add Your Specific Classes to Your Package.

About Summer Adventure
Welcome to Summer Adventure!
For more than 25 years, the Ridgewood Community School has sponsored the Summer Adventure program, enriching the lives of students across Ridgewood and Bergen County.
Our mission is to provide a safe and enriching environment that allows our campers to play, learn, and grow, cultivating independence and fostering self-confidence through engaging and enjoyable classes.
Led by a team of skilled professional teachers who actively teach, coach, and mentor our campers, empowering them to be the best that they can be.
About Our Program
Instruction provided by certified teachers, experts, or content-appropriate college students
Principal/Supervisor and nurse on duty
Regular classroom setting with Air Conditioning.
Program runs rain or shine
Both indoor and outdoor activities
Supervised lunch time for full-day students - please bring your own lunch
Class sizes limited
Full Day: 8:30 am-3:00 pm
No camp on July 4th
